I don’t feel comfortable doing that; have you tried using private mode in your browser? That works for me for most newspaper sites where I’ve gone past the limit, but I’ve been a NYT subscriber for a while, so I don’t know whether that’ll help with this.

It’s probably time for me to spring for something like Apple News, but that just gets you WSJ and LA Times... Wish there was a way for more of the big papers to join up into a subscription service.

Your local public library may offer access to The NY Times & others via their own website. Alternatively, clearing the cookies of a particular site from your browser often restarts the counter,  if it’s a site that offers a free, limited number of articles per month.
